Coloring books in an Easter theme can also be included and this will keep those young minds and fingers busy for hours.

Easter is one of the first signs of spring so why not include some playthings for summer? A box of sidewalk chalk allows the little artists to express themselves, while a jumping rope affords them not only fun but a great skill too.

Little boys love to race and an Easter basket filled with small toy cars will put a smile on that small face. The same can be said for a little girl with a Barbie doll. A doll complete with a bright outfit for Easter will bring her much more pleasure than candy ever could.

All children love to build so put a pail and some shovels in the Easter gift basket. There are sand areas in most playgrounds and digging and building are great ways to stimulate their young imaginations. They can even take them to the beach during summer vacation and build you a sand castle.

An Easter gift basket should be both fun and tasty. With a few sweet treats and something more substantial the little one in your life will be happy.
